The Black Residence is a study in bold restraint, organic luxury, and architectural precision. Designed with an unwavering commitment to authentic materials and meticulous craftsmanship, the home blends sculptural forms, rich natural textures, and refined modern detailing. Each space is crafted as a sensory experience, shaped by thoughtful proportions, custom millwork, and a curated global palette of stone, lacquer, wood, and artisanal finishes.

From the carved marble entry bench to the exotic stones sourced from Brazil, India, and Italy, every element was chosen for its integrity and expressive beauty. The architecture was thoughtfully rebalanced with symmetrical window placement, refined circulation paths, and ceiling-height millwork that reinforces clarity and flow throughout the residence.

Key design moments unfold seamlessly from room to room: a precision-laid marble foyer introduces the home’s rhythm; dramatic exotic stone elevates the powder room, living room, wet bar, and kitchen, creating sculptural focal points that anchor each space; and the primary suite is reimagined with sculpted Italian marble, custom closet detailing, and harmonious horizontal motifs carried into the bedroom. The kitchen becomes a centerpiece of both performance and artistry with bespoke lighting, waterfall stonework, and tailored cabinetry free of soffit interruptions. Across the interiors, layered textures such as plaster, abaca, lacquer, glass mosaic, and hand-loomed rugs add depth and emotional resonance. Complementary spaces, including the wellness-focused fitness room, meticulously detailed laundry rooms, and a fully transformed garage, extend the home’s refined functional narrative. Even the exterior is elevated through Italian porcelain pavers that continue the architectural language beyond the walls.

Materials were sourced from five countries and multiple U.S. regions, culminating in five shipping containers of custom furnishings, stone, and architectural components, reflecting the scale and craftsmanship behind the design.
